How to Switch Phone Numbers to Use Emergency Prompts.

You can choose 1 of 4 time switches  to use in a given time band period when using IVR as follows:

Closed (White)
Open (Green)
Lunch (Blue)
Weekend (Red)

Normally for emergency use,  the
'weekend'  time switch is chosen to replace the IVR Prompts for the given time band period  the service is down. 
see example below on wednesday's  between  11 am and 12.30 the weekend timeswitch is used. 


To check or change a Timeband for an NTS number

On webstats portal navigate to  NTS number ranges. Select the NTS Number you want to change to emergency routing.

Select the arrow in top left hand corner, as circled in screenshot above to display the time band grid for the given  nts number.

Selecting the colour ( red for weekend time switch) and drag over the hours to change.

Remember to hit save button afterwards.

To check or change the recording message actually used for the weekend timeswitch.

 As in screen shot go to the status option for the given NTS  number eg. weekend. Click the arrow button,  as in screenshot, and you will see which wav file is in use. Normally the name will start with a number ranging from 3000 to 3999.  eg 3008 Emergency Closed



The Change button allows you to play the recordings and choose a new recording file to use by hitting the select button.  Remember to hit save button afterwards.


The
Usage button shows you to see what other NTS numbers will also be affected and use this IVR configuration.


The Replace button allows you to replace the recording file with a new one.
